We are currently recruiting for a Senior Digital Marketing Manager to join our Marketing department. As the Senior Digital Marketing Manager, the main purpose of the role will be to build and drive the Police Mutual Group’s digital strategy and continuously look for areas of improvement within the digital area.

Within this role you will…

  • Work with the Head of Affinity Marketing to develop the overall digital strategy for Police Mutual Group brands and products
  • Work with the Marketing Proposition Development team to develop a strong linkage and clear member/customer interpretation of propositions and products across digital channel and websites
  • Work with the Marketing Analytics, Insight and CRM teams to develop insight to understand the different affinities that enables the delivery of the overall business plans and strategic objectives of the business
  • Work with the wider Brand and the Affinity Marketing teams to design and own an effective annual digital communications plan which delivers the right KPIs to support the overall Marketing plan, collaborating to optimise elements such as our digital footprint to our user experience. Moving at a fast pace to support campaigns in a constantly changing environment without losing delivery quality
  • Develop and deliver SEO/SEM strategies utilising the marketing database alongside rich, refreshable content and this may include design and delivery of email, social media and display advertising campaigns.The delivery of campaigning may, through negotiation, rest with either of the complementary Marketing teams: Retention/Engagement and Acquisition
  • Design, build and maintain our social media strategies across both affinities and within the brand context
  • Identify trends and insights and optimise spend and performance based on the insights across affinities on owned and earned digital media
  • Lead the work with the creative agencies and other 3rd party suppliers to ensure all digital marketing is in line with the Group brand and tone and support the affinity propositions and with clear and measureable RoI
  • Be aware of regulatory requirements and ensure communications are compliant
  • Secure stakeholder approval and sign off of communications
  • Ensure all communications are clear, fair and not misleading and relevant regulations are followed e.g. GDPR, Data Protection, Treating Customers Fairly principles
  • Have awareness of data protection guidelines and internal data management procedures

You will bring with you…

  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and/or display advertising campaigns
  • A proven rack record in improving on page and in application conversion rates
  • Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
  • Significant experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels on page experience with A/B and multivariate testing at a site and page level
  • Deep knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, WebTrends)
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in using ad serving tools and extensive experience in setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns
  • Detailed working knowledge of Umbraco, PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement
  • Strong communication and presentation skills with a persuasive and compelling influencing style
