Senior Digital Fundraising Manager Responsibilities:

Alzheimer’s Society is seeking a forward-thinking, organised and proactive Senior Digital Fundraising Manager to lead the Alzheimer’s Society’s Digital Fundraising team.

The Digital Fundraising team is responsible for maximising fundraising income through digital products, platforms and channels, as well as instilling a user-centred approach across digital fundraising activities.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing the Digital Fundraising team as well as creating and delivering strategies that maximise fundraising income and futureproof the Society’s digital fundraising offer.

Reporting to the Head of Individual Giving, in this dynamic and varied position, you hold the overall responsibility for the performance of Digital Fundraising team products and platforms, and will lead the team to embed digital skills and best practice across Fundraising teams.

You will also be responsible for budget management, as well as proactively stay abreast of latest digital developments to ensure the competitiveness of our digital fundraising offer. You will play a key role in influencing new ways of optimising and generating digital income – whether that’s through proactive and reactive campaigns, or through development of our existing digital fundraising portfolio.

You will be joining the team at a time where digital fundraising has never been more important. In this exciting maternity cover position, you will play an integral role in leading the team to achieve excellence in digital fundraising and optimal digital income generation.

Senior Digital Fundraising Manager Requirements:

We are looking for a well-organised and proactive individual with strong management skills, able to build excellent internal and external relationships, as well as translate complex digital terminology into clear and concise language. This role will suit the kind of individual who can bring ambition, competitiveness and drive to deliver results for a growing and passionate cause.

Managerial experience in digital, coupled with strong line management skills, and a proven track record of strategic development are necessary skills for applicants.

Applicants should also have a background in digital marketing, analytics, as well as an interest in fundraising and the charity sector.

Position: Senior Digital Fundraising Manager - FTC
Location: Home Worker - England and Wales
Contract type: Fixed term maternity cover to start in January 2021 (minimum cover required for 8 months, with scope to increase to 9 – 10 months)
Hours: Full time, 35 hours per week
Salary: £41,585 - £46,725 actual per annum (depending on skills and experience) (+ London Allowance of £3,600 if applicable)
