The Role
As a Senior Digital Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary where you'll have an excellent opportunity to have an active role in shaping the team strategy and development plan to ensure the team are at the forefront of digital engineering delivery.

Day-to-day, you'll be focused on project delivery, providing core Building Information Modelling (BIM), digital engineering, and Information Management (IM) management services from tender to completion. This role will build on the existing team capabilities to meet the business operational objectives.

  • Contribute to the strategy and implementation and support of 3D CAD, IM and BIM (in line with ISO 19650) in support of Nuclear and Non-Nuclear Safety related facilities for the Major Infrastructure Projects programme.
  • Work with delivery partners and client to ensure operational and strategic delivery requirements are met through working groups, engaging stakeholders internal or external.
  • Ensure governance in tools investigation, down selection, planning and deployment, following governance processes.
  • Support and lead in the wider group digital strategy and delivery through experience and a deep level of available technologies.

This role is full time, 35 hours per week and provides hybrid working arrangements with 2 days in the office/onsite and 3 days working from home.

Essential experience of the Senior Digital Engineer

  • Experience in BIM implementation management
  • Strong leadership and people management skills with client engagement and relationship management
  • Expertise utilising Autodesk solutions such as Revit, Navisworks, Inventor, Vault, and Synchro
  • Experience in any of the following such as product lifecycle management, digital manufacturing or asset management would be a bonus.
