Senior Design Engineer - Avionics

Our client is looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join their team of 8 design engineers, this role is working in the Design Office supporting requirement changes / modifications for the Falcon 20 Aircrafts. Our client requires candidates from a 21J Design organisations. The successful candidate must come from an aerospace/aviation background and have a clear understanding of aircraft avionic/electrical component and/or system design requirements, materials and manufacturing processes. Our client uses CATIA and Solid works, but any CAD package experience is acceptable. You should be able to produce calculations in support of the design activity and have a working knowledge of regulatory requirements, i.e. EASA, JAA, FAA is desirable. This role is based in the Bournemouth area and offers excellent benefits and a very competitive salary.

As the Senior Design Engineer - Avionics your skills and qualifications will ideally include:

  • Degree or HND/HNC or OND/ONC in electrical engineering, or industrial experience
  • Have a clear understanding of aircraft avionic/electrical component and/or system design requirements, materials and manufacturing processes.
  • CATIA, Solid works or Auto CAD proficient.
  • Able to produce calculations in support of the design activity.
