The ideal Curriculum Manager will be innovative, enthusiastic and passionate. You will have experience working with SEND students with PMLD and complex needs. It is essential that candidates have a relevant degree or equivalent qualification, are teacher trained and would be desirable to have both management and teaching experience in this curriculum area.
They are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Curriculum Manager to be responsible for a range of courses in our SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disability). Reporting to the Head of Faculty for Foundation Learning and English, Senior Curriculum Managers are second tier managers within our Faculty structure. The core purpose of a Senior Curriculum Manager is to drive up standards and ensure an excellent student experience. You will have teaching responsibilities and will be expected to carry out line-management duties and classroom observations.
The College has worked with Prospero teaching for a number of years, they have entrusted this vacancy with us to ensure they appoint the most suitable Curriculum Manager to continue the amazing teaching delivered to their SEND students aged 14-24. The role offers the option of a contractual basis until the end of the academic year and potentially an opportunity to become permanent depending on the successful Curriculum Manager's needs.
The successful Curriculum Manager will have knowledge of:
*Quality improvement requirements; production of reviews, lesson observations, self as-sessment, monitoring and target setting.
*Managing Teaching staff
*Knowledge of Ofsted and Measures for Success
*Developing and managing a curriculum for SEND students
