About the Role:
The Senior Credit Controller is a new role designed to support the Order to Cash Manager during a peak period, driven by increased focus on accounts receivable due to external circumstances and a desire to drive a step change in the team’s capability.
The role will support the Order to Cash Manager with a variety of ongoing Credit Control tasks, act as a key business partner to the wider business, support the two team leaders and be capable of deputising if necessary, and own small, stand-alone projects whilst driving them to completion
Support OTC Manager in the day to day running of the AR team;Lead master data project in relation to customer terms;Drive process improvements in pricing, discounts, EDI;Support the development of core KPI’s and key reporting outputs from AR teamSupport compliance with customer insurance and any current claimsLead a review of active terms and payment methods and identify potential improvements.Manage interactions with customer management team;Deputise as team leader as and when necessary;Various ad-hoc projects, including banking migration, blocked order reviews, customer credit limit reviews, management of sugar tax transition;Business partnering commercial teams/wider business – be a visible face of AR.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Significant experience as a credit controller, preferably in a FMCG environment;Experience of cross functional business partnering;Sound knowledge of basic accounting;Microsoft Office;Familiarity with SAP R3;
