You will be working for a rapidly expanding national Technology & Internet Services company who pride themselves on connecting people. Due to fantastic company performance, business acquisitions and plans to expand internationally in the foreseeable future, there is a need for a Senior Credit Controller in the Bristol head office. The role is based on the m5 corridor
Your new role
You will be working as a Senior Credit Controller and will oversee two part-time cc/sales ledger clerks. You will be responsible for raising sales invoices & coordinating the workloads of the sales ledger administrator & credit controller. You will be working with the credit controller to maintain progress against weekly cash collection targets and inform finance manager of progress to enable department cash flows to be accurately forecast and tracked. You will also report outstanding issues to management, inform them of potential debtor problems, run credit checks and company investigations for new customer applications. You will also be invoicing managed services phased billing, liaising to maintain accurate invoicing for new customers, deal with queries and allocate receipts. You will also carry out reporting duties such as; month end reconciliation of sales ledger & variance analysis, analysis of current debtor days & how it can be reduced and ad hoc reports for management team
What you'll need to succeed
You will have a proven track record of Credit Control and reducing debtor days. You will have excellent organisational skills, be able to build strong relationships & communicate effectively at all levels. You will be able to work under pressure and to effectively manage conflicting and changing priorities in a face paced environment whilst maintaining a good level of attention to detail. You will have good Excel skills, and experience of new system implementation and process improvement would be desirable.
