An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Concession Manager, on a fixed term maternity cover contract, within the On Board Revenue department at Carnival UK. The overall purpose of the role is to work with our 3rd party concession partners to deliver a compelling and innovative Guest Experience on board P&O Cruises and Cunard Ships.
A key driver of income, the Onboard Revenue department focusses on the delivery of various on board products. These products are central to our ability to offer Unforgettable Holiday Happiness to our guests wherever they are and what ship they are on.
Central to the role is the delivery of an effective and successful return to service programme for retail on board P&O Cruises and Cunard ships post the Covid-19 pause. You’ll also focus closely on successfully launching and embedding our incredible new P&O Cruises ship, Iona into the fleet. To do this, you’ll need to work closely with 3rd party operators to continually optimise the products and services offered to develop on board revenue opportunities for our future. Naturally, clear, transparent and regular communication with internal and external stakeholders is critical to the success of this role. Your leadership skills will also be key as you’ll lead by example - taking care of the health and safety of yourself and others around you is also important.
Ideally you will have experience in working in large commercial or retail organisations and your strong commercial acumen will shine through. You will have a proven track record of account management and project delivery, coupled with strong numerical, analytical and financial skills. Naturally you’ll be organised with the ability to prioritise and work to deadlines - working strategically as well as in the detail is something you thrive on. A good communicator and influencer at all levels, you'll possess a strong customer centric approach at all times and of course and you'll be a proactive self-starter with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders both internal and external to the business.
