Senior Community Staff Nurse

Brampton & Longtown Integrated Community Care District Nursing team are looking to recruit a caring and compassionate permanent Band 6 Senior Community Staff Nurse or District Nurse who is an excellent communicator and has the ability to lead and motivate the team in providing the type of outstanding care that we would recommend to our family and friends.

It is an excellent opportunity for a dynamic, enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse who is seeking the opportunity to develop their clinical skills whilst supporting the team in providing care for a diverse clientele within a rural community setting. The Brampton and Longtown Integrated Community Care Team work collaboratively and innovatively with patients and families and health and social care stakeholders to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions, facilitate hospital discharge and to promote independence, health and wellbeing.

The cost of the DBS must be met by the successful candidate(s) through salary deduction. DBS charges are as follows if applicable to the post:

Standard Check: £26 + Administration cost of £4.20 = deducted at £10.20 from 1st month salary and £10 deducted from salary over following 2 months.

Enhanced Check: £44 + administration cost of £4.20 = £15.20 deducted from 1st month salary and £11 deducted from salary over following 3 months.
