The job

The role of the Senior Communications Planning manager is to manage the planning all aspects of communications to drive Customer Experience journeys, with a key focus on automation, optimisation and opportunity development. The channel scope extends across Email, SMS, Push, Programmatic and Social and will also inform requirements for other channels eg PPC, Out of home and web merchandising as appropriate.

This is a key role to work with the Brand team and will own the direct aspect of the Communication Calendar and ensure all campaigns are, where integrated, give the best consistent customer journey to drive required outcomes.

The role will be responsible for ensuring that our customers are delivered the right message through the right channel at the right time in order to maximise revenue and customer experience. This will be achieved by planning and optimising automated/personalised customer journeys founded on data driven insight to deliver the next best action to our customers.

The Senior Communications Planning Manager will own customer journeys in both the business and leisure and will play a key role in implementing plans for new segments or customer journeys. The role will also be responsible for optimising interactions through our Business Booker Tool and Business Account card.

Where required, they will work with Premier Inn’s key business stakeholders and with our internal teams and external partners.

This role requires great levels of commerciality, curiosity, creative problem solving and passion for data as well as good people management skills.

A strong people manager with experience in a similar role

Commercially focused, with good multichannel experience with an understanding of Adobe Marketing Cloud technology

Passionate about digital with Adobe campaign experience and strong Excel skills

An excellent communicator with serious attention to details and brilliant data analysis skills

Looking for your next role after gaining demonstrable experience in managing marketing campaigns involving relevant channels (email, SMS, Push, Programmatic, Social)
