As a Senior Communications Manager you will act as deputy to the Director of Communications. This means being a leader to the wider PR & Communications team: organising their workload, provide constructive feedback, training in copywriting techniques, proofing others work and maintaining morale within the team.
You will also be responsible for briefing the Director of Communications on issues that affect the wider business and take a senior role within all crisis communications group wide. You will have to be confident with liaising at all levels across the business and able to give council to senior team and be comfortable dealing with difficult situations.
This role is perfect for someone who thrives on a high level of responsibility, can adjust to a wide variety of styles and tones, and can prioritise work effectively for themselves and others. It also calls for skills in both external and internal communications, and would be ideal for someone from an agency background who has experience managing different stakeholders.
