A leading independent accountancy practice is seeking a Senior Client Manager to help lead and continue to drive forward the firm’s profile. Based in Wadebridge, this is an exciting time to join a respected firm who have plans to continue expanding their business. Watson Evans Associates are seeking applications from candidates with experience of working in accountancy practice at a Senior or Assistant Manager level or above. The position will be offered on a full time, permanent basis and will be accompanied by a strong benefits package and a starting salary likely to be between £30,000 and £40,000 dependent on experience.

As the Senior Client Manager, you will take a lead role within the firm and will be responsible for managing an existing client portfolio and ensuring that all opportunities to offer other services offered by the firm are highlighted. You will supervise and lead an established team of accountants and support staff, delegating work and reviewing the work completed. You will also be tasked with gaining new clients and generally raising the practice’s profile across the region. Excellent technical accountancy knowledge is essential and experience of mixed tax work would be an advantage.

An ACA or ACCA qualification would be desirable, but experience of managing client affairs is essential. You will be IT literate and able to communicate clearly and professionally, have excellent technical knowledge with an excellent work ethic.
