Based in the Claims Handling team you will be responsible for a portfolio of BTE Legal Expenses Claims from first notification through to settlement. This will involve taking details of new claims, liasing with the insured and brokers, carrying out cover checks and settlement of claims. Customer service and compliance will be paramount as will excellent organisation and time management skills in order to be able to handle a large volume of claims.
Significant claims experience in any major general insurance class of business is required gained from either an insurer, law firm or broker. Legal expenses experience of knowledge of legal expenses covers is desirable.
