My client is a materials technology business who create and deliver materials technologies that enable their clients to develop new and innovative products. As well as supporting clients they also work on core research to generate exploitable new technologies.
They are looking for a scientist with experience in inorganic chemistry to join their team dedicated to solving client material issues. Candidates will need the ability to gain an understanding of the client's needs and the skills to plan and carry out controlled, repeatable experimentation and material characterisations.
Requirements
· Educated to at least Masters level in a relevant discipline, specialising in inorganic chemistry.
· Prior experience in a similar position
· Candidates with at least 2:1 at Bachelors will be considered in they have additional experience, preferably in an industrial or commercial setting
· Experience/knowledge of geo-polymerisation processes, cement chemistry and the constructions products industry would be highly advantageous
