Our Chester branch is looking to recruit a Senior Healthcare Assistant to work in a variety of care settings including nursing and care home in Warrington and the surrounding Cheshire areas.

The Senior Care Assistant Position

Due to the nature of this position, it is essential that you have a NVQ3 or equivalent in health and social care. You'll also require a valid medication administration certificate, or be willing to book onto a Newcross training course. Team leader experience, or currently experience in a Senior Care Assistant role would also be advantageous.

The Local Branch

Your local branch is based in Chester - you can find us at 17 - 19 Boughton, just off of the A51. We are easily accessible by both car and public transport, being just a 7 minute walk from Chester train station and a few minutes from the Grosvenor precinct.

Our Chester branch covers the wider Cheshire area and parts of Northern Wales, from Holywell and Wrexham, to Crewe and Northwich.

To be considered for this care assistant position, you will need the right to live and work in the UK, recent paid experience working in a UK care environment and at least 2 referee contract details, including a manager who can comment on your clinical ability.

You'll also need a certificate confirming your participation in a practical moving and handling course in the last 12 months, or be willing to book onto a Newcross course.
