An impressive global law firm are looking to bring someone in at Senior BDM level to work across their corporate practice group. The role has line management responsibility of a team and will be looked at to provide strategic leadership across the practice group.
As the main point of contact reporting directly into the Head of BD of the business a key area of the role will revolve around raising the firm's profile, this will require you to establish close relationships with senior partners & give you a platform to implement and scope a variety of initiatives.
Summary of some duties include;
*Developing and implementing targeted BD strategy & planning across the practice areas covered in the role.
*Client relationship work, including maintain current client relationships whilst also enhancing cross-selling amongst the firm and recommending new prospective clients.
*Project managing and tracking the proposals/bid process, feeding back to Senior stakeholders and recommending areas for improvement.
The firm's environment is one of the main selling points of this opportunity, with the ability to offer a flexible working culture & a real collaborative team ethos should prove very attractive to current BD Managers.
Ideally a previous track record covering the FS/Corporate area would be advantageous but not essential, however a dynamic and enthusiastic mindset will need to be demonstrated.
