An IT Managed Services Provider is looking for a professional and highly experienced Senior Business Development Manager or Business Development Director to join their flourishing sales team.
The purpose of the role is to use your sales professionalism, your knowledge & experience, and your extensive network of former colleagues, partners & customers along with social media utilisation and internal marketing leads, to identify, prospect and generate net new customers.
You will work with both internal and external partner resources to deliver industry leading customer engagement to achieve high levels of client satisfaction and future business.
Skills & Experience Required
- At least 5 years experience in a sales role working with medium and large customers operating in diverse sectors
- Experience working with large geographically dispersed virtual teams
- Strong new business record - An outstanding understanding of IT Managed Services
- An excellent understanding of Service Desk Outsourcing / Out Tasking / Overflowing
- A good understanding of partner solutions such as Microsoft, Nimble, Cisco, HP & NetApp
- Strong commercial acumen and excellent presentation skills
