Senior Business Analyst

PEGlobal are looking for a Senior Business Analyst for our multinational pharmaceutical client based in the Buckinghamshire area on an initial 16 month contract.

Responsible for the management of the User Requirements process for Global Medical Safety (GMS) PV system enhancements, ensuring user requirements are clearly defined, documented, approved and tested. Responsible for leading the user acceptance testing phase for PV systems enhancements, ensuring business partner participation throughout the process, including test script review and approval, test script execution and go-live approval. Providing support to GMS and external partners on PV systems, processes and interfaces, implementation of new systems, systems upgrades and management of the change process. Ownership and development of new and existing PV systems Training Material in line with new systems and releases. 
Investigate and implement innovative solutions that provide enhanced compliance, efficiency and quality to PV processes, PV systems and interfaces. 

Main Responsibilities of the role

Business Analysis: 
• Partner with GMS business units & external partners for PV systems processes and PV system interface projects and opportunities, ensuring alignment with PV systems strategy 
• Act as a process subject matter expert, looking for ways to improve compliance, quality and efficiency 
• Elicit requirements using various techniques, critically evaluate the information gathered, reconciling conflicts, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs (requirements) 
• Proactively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to analyze information needs and create User Requirements Documents, prioritizing deliverables 
• Utilize enterprise-wide requirements definitions and management systems and methodologies 
• Manage process and system change, reducing the impact on the GMS business functions 

User Acceptance Testing (UAT) Management: 
• Develop UAT scripts to test the requirements and regression test impacted functionality 
• Lead the execution of UAT, ensuring resource availability and timely execution of scripts 
• Review scripts for completeness and correctness and liaise with PV Systems provider to ensure timely documentation 
Controlled Documents and System Training Material: 
• Work with other subject matter experts to development and maintain controlled documents 
• Maintain systems training material and controlled documents in accordance with new systems releases 
• Create new systems training material and provide training to the appropriate subject matter experts 
Systems Implementation and Compliance 
• Lead the implementation of enhancements to PV systems, processes and PV system interfaces within GMS and external partners 
• Manage CAPAs to closure, either through process or systems change 
• Participate in PV Audits and Inspections 
• Manage the change process and ensure timely and relevant communication to appropriate groups 

• Proactively seek innovative solutions that could enhance compliance, efficiency or quality in GMS processes and systems 
Training and Development: 
• Maintain knowledge of department policies and procedures 
• Complete development activities as applicable 
• Maintain 100% compliance in all assigned training activities 
• Maintain industry and regulatory knowledge 

Ideal Background and Skillset of the successful candidate
• Strong analytical and process skills, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements 
• In-depth knowledge of current working practices and procedures, with the ability to create process design documents 
• Identify and evaluate methods for improving efficiency, quality and regulatory compliance 
• Successfully engage in multiple work streams 
• Work with multiple stakeholders managing consensus and expectations 
• Create accurate and concise documentation
