The Role



Based at our Head Office in Huddersfield this is a fantastic career opportunity to join our Contract Administration Team working within a dynamic team of Building & Quantity Surveyors.  Client facing and commercially aware you must be willing to travel to various sites throughout the UK, along with periodic visits to our Cardiff office.  Enjoying a varied workload including undertaking property surveys (measured and attribute / condition surveys), preparation of specifications and schedules of work, site inspections to monitor works being undertaken by Contractors under our direction, leading site meetings, contract administration, cost control, design co-ordination, Party Wall Act matters and CDM Consultant/Principal Designer duties.   



Ideal Candidate:





  • RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree




  • Ideally MRICS/MCIOB qualified or commitment to working towards MRICS/MCIOB




  • Successful track record of providing Employers Agent & Contract Administration duties




  • Experience of working with traditional and Design & Build contracts




  • Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles




  • An organised and methodical approach to your work.






  • A ‘self-starter’ and can be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy.
