Senior Bookkeeper needed for a growing tech business in central London. £30,000 per annum

Your new company
You will be join a well established and growing business that have experience consistent 5-15% revenue growth every quarter for the last 2 years. They have circa 30 staff in the UK. Previously they have had their accounts primarily outsourced with one in-house part time Accounts Assistant. However with the successful growth of the business they are now seeking a Senior Bookkeeper on a full time basis to take ownership over the accounts function in a friendly and supportive work environment.

Your new role
You will be working as a Senior Bookkeeper, maintaining the whole accounts function for the business, reporting straight in to the Directors of the business and liaising with senior management. You will have to maintain the purchase, sales and general ledgers using Xero system. You will be running and reconciling the trial balance plus also completing month end closure duties and producing monthly reports with analysis. You will be reconciling the bank accounts and be the focal point of the company to resolve and finance related issues.

What you'll need to succeed
You must have at least 3 years experience at least completing the accounts to TB but ideally will have experience producing management accounts. There is support and progression available in this role with plans for you to recruit a junior in the next 12 months to supervise. You should be pro-active and be able to work autonomously. You should be eager to learn and also driven to add value to the business by improving the finance function where appropriate. You MUST have experience with Xero system to be considered for this role.
