Senior BD & Marketing Executive - mid sized law firm

A leading London-based professional services firm is seeking a Senior BD & Marketing Executive to join its established Business Development & Marketing team. This role will support across practice groups but with particular focus on the Real Estate team.

This role is central to supporting the firm’s strategic growth objectives, enhancing market profile, and strengthening client relationships across multiple practice groups. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, BD & Marketing Managers, and colleagues across the firm to deliver high-quality business development initiatives, marketing campaigns, and client-focused projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Support Senior BD & Marketing Managers in creating and executing strategic business plans for all practice groups.

• Deliver elements of the full BD & Marketing lifecycle, including thought leadership, social media, blogs, digital content, PR, events, webinars, and podcasts.

• Prepare first-draft pitches and proposals and manage the process through to completion.

• Identify opportunities to develop existing and prospective client relationships, including cross-selling initiatives.

• Maintain and update marketing collateral such as practice profiles, case studies, CVs, and thought leadership material.

• Work with the Events Executive to plan and deliver seminars, roundtables, receptions, and other key events.

• Source and produce content for the firm’s website and internal channels.

• Coordinate legal directory and awards submissions.

• Support the development and adoption of the firm’s CRM system and help improve internal engagement and data quality.

Skills & Experience

• Experience as a Senior BD & Marketing Executive (or an Executive ready to step up) within a partnership or professional services environment.

• Familiarity with CRM or campaign management platforms (such as InterAction or Vuture) is desirable.

• Degree or professional qualification in Marketing, Business, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Strong writing and drafting skills, with the ability to produce high-quality first drafts and creative ideas.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the confidence to communicate effectively at all levels.
