Roles & Responsibilities:

Essentially includes executing/leading accounting advisory or related engagements in a client environment and performing following activities on a day-to-day basis

  • Project Support - Support the Engagement Manager in planning engagements and adhering to engagement delivery requirements

  • Project Delivery - Ownership and support of deliverables as mandated by project requirements. Execution of engagement tasks independently or in a team setting and delivering to high quality standards

  • Practice Development - Supporting and contributing to various internal practice initiatives

    Candidate Profile:

    Graduate/ Post graduate with relevant experience in:

  • Experience working in a Data Management role or Data Analyst/Manager capacity or for a large retail or financial services organization, or consultancy firm in one or more of the following areas:

    • Understanding of data management principles (Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Standards); practical experience in data flow documentation and analysis, data quality assessment, data cleansing, metadata management and Datawarehousing

    • Data retrieval from various data stores or files; Combine and filter those data as required for the analysis

    • Experience in implementing end to end Analytics and Data management solutions, involving system development efforts, requirement gathering, design, architect and deployment

    • Expert knowledge of SQL for querying databases (Teradata, Oracle & SQL Server is desirable)

    • Experience in data analytics (using Alteryx or equivalent), dashboard creation and automation

    • Prepare data extraction, storage and manipulation architecture along with providing specific inputs on usage of right kind of statistical tools. Use business intelligence tools to implement real time reporting and monitoring system and identify critical gaps and problem areas in the operations of a business

    • Expert at elimination/automation of costly performance bottlenecks to optimize the response time and throughput of the system thereby making the business process more efficient and effective

    • Able to define key performance indicators and quantify the benefits delivered to the client.

  • Prior team management experience

  • Agile development methodology experience (desirable)

  • High level of self-confidence and strong people skills

  • Excellent presentation and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills and business acumen with a flair to explore and learn new tools/technologies (mostly on the job)

  • Ability to work under dynamic and strict deadlines

  • Willingness to take charge and take ownership of deliverables
