Senior Associate - Business Continuity Professional

We are seeking a customer-centric analytical thinking resource who is an experienced and credentialed business continuity professional, to participate in performing all phases of business continuity lifecycle, with initial focus on conducting business impact assessments across the organization. Role will include attention to detail, exercising sound judgment, building relationships, and effective communication skills.

Prospective candidate should have:

  • 5+ years experience as a business continuity professional
  • Business continuity credentials from recognized entity
  • Thorough knowledge with The BCI's GPG and ISO22301
  • Ability to clearly communicate business continuity lifecycle to audiences familiar and unfamiliar with these concepts
  • Confidence to lead BIA interviews, convert information collected into functional, BC plan documents, and validate these plans through testing
  • Ability to demonstrate attention to details
  • Communication skills adaptable across multiple staff levels, from senior management to front line staff
  • Ability to identify risk exposures and offer remediation options
  • Ability to multi-task projects and keep on track for targeted completion dates

Other items considered a plus include:

  • Experience in crisis management planning and execution
  • Former audit experience
  • Experience with Shadow-Planner software
  • Experience in energy or government sector
  • Customer experience role
