Associate/Senior Associate - Family National Service Line (NSL)

Birmingham office, permanent

What does the role involve?

We are looking for a family associate to join our Birmingham offices to undertake private family law work serving an exclusively privately paying client base with an emphasis on complex children law matters and financial work and complex cases for professionals and high net worth individuals.

What experience is required?

1-5 years PQE with training and experience in family law gained within a regional or City firm.

What skills and attributes would I need?

Good academics 2.1 degree or equivalent and A levels (A,A,C) or equivalent

Excellent communication skills including written English for drafting purposes

Ability to build relationships with multipliers, clients and potential clients

Excellent interpersonal and team skills

Good time management skills, able to prioritise work load and meet time lines

Who would I be working with?

Based in Birmingham, you will work with Principal Associate Katherine Kennedy and other members of the Family team in that office and also as part of the wider cross office Family National Service Line ("NSL") headed up by Nick Stone. The Family NSL is supported by a professional support lawyer.
