As a Senior Configuration Analyst working in our Hatfield head office, the successful candidate will be tasked with consistent improvement of customer service and the data supplied both meeting and exceeding SLAs. The main tasks within this role are varied and span from ensuring the accuracy of data within the CMDB and data repositories, maintaining CI's to a high standard of detail using discovery sources, to creation and maintenance of key service metrics and maintaining Runbooks and Work instructions for each account you are involved with. In addition nurturing and maintaining customer service plans, service impact models and management of any service and tooling issues along with being involved in tooling testing when required, will all peak your interest while undertaking this challenging and rewarding role.
The Ideal Candidate
Being knowledgeable of an IT Configuration environment while being ITIL Qualified is a must. Proven experience within the Configuration discipline with previous experience with CMDB, such as BMC Atrium and previous experience with data discovery tooling, such as SCCM, Eracent or Active Directory will all be key in being a success within this role. In return you can expect to be given the opportunity to further develop yourself, being involved with and working alongside high profile customers will really build your stock within the Asset and Configuration team. You will be working with Microsoft products, primarily Excel, Vision, SharePoint and PowerPoint so a deep understanding of these will also be required. Experience of working with VB (Visual Basic) would be an advantage however not essential.
