Due to continued new project wins and expansion into a new office to accommodate team growth a Senior Architectural Technologist is required to join a design-lead practice in Cheshire. The practice has projects within a variety of sectors including Leisure, Assisted Living, Workplace - however their unrivaled reputation lies within high end / luxury residential and they have portfolio that will instantly grab your attention !

Your role:

You will be joining a technically talented team who have proven track records within their specialist sectors. The role is varied and will see you supporting Architects and helping to lead projects from inception through to completion.

  • Producing detailed drawings - tender, proposal, presentation & construction
  • Investigating any technical issues that could affect planning / building regulations
  • Working closely with statutory authorities
  • Specifications

Your skills:

With 8-10 years experience working within a UK architectural practice, you will have had experience of running a project. The practice designs in AutoCAD and Revit and proficiency in at least one of these is essential.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Architectural Technologist to join an in-house design team. Why is it great ? They are a growing business, experienced design team, responsibility, fabulous working environment, involvement in decision making processes !

You will support New Build development schemes and Refurbishment / Change of Use projects, working across multiple projects at any give time. Projects have a fast turnaround so there is always something new to be working on.

About the role ?

In this role you will support the Principal Architect, working alongside a Senior Technologist and provide guidance to 2 junior technologists. Running projects from start to finish you will interact with clients, consultancies and contractors.

You will be proficient in AutoCAD, knowledge of Revit would be a bonus but not a necessity, more important is your ability to produce detailed drawings and to have technical input into the team. With ideally 4-7 years PQE and a level of experience within the Residential Sector, whether it be with your current employer or a previous employer.
