About the role
As a Senior Analyst for our market leading Littlewoods Ireland business, you’ll be based in Speke playing a key part within Financial Services.
You will work with the business to help us make the right decisions at the right times. Whether it’s providing performance analytics on our credit products, or analysing the risk of our credit portfolio, you’ll be expected to provide commercial insight and recommendations, communicating these in a compelling, impactful way to senior stakeholders.
You’ll work on multiple priorities within a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You’ll need to be able to manage the expectations of stakeholders alongside prioritising your workload.
Critical decisions are made here every day and acted upon immediately - giving you every chance to make a real impact, make decisions and quickly see the results.
There is a small degree of travel to and from The Republic of Ireland for the successful candidate so you’ll have the flexibility to support this whilst managing your own diary.
You have a degree in a numerate discipline, are highly proficient with SQL or SAS with advanced Microsoft Excel skills too. You’re curious, analytical and logical with a keen eye for detail.
We’re also interested in your softer skills - your ability to work with challenging stakeholders along with the ability to solve complex problems and relay solutions in a simple, clear and concise way.
Working at pace with competing and changing priorities doesn’t faze you - you thrive in that type of environment, you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo.
Commercially aware with the ability to present your findings into actionable business recommendations, you’re comfortable in dealing with stakeholders at all levels.
There is very little hierarchy here and if you were to join us, you would be expected to have a voice and the confidence to use it. You’ll also be adept at developing your network and leaning on the right colleagues for support or insight.
