Senior Analyst-Developer

A fantastic opportunity has become available for a Senior Analyst Developer for the Fixed Income Front Office environment which consists of a combination of vendor and in-house components, covering trade pricing, booking and risk management.

You will join the Fixed Income FO Risk IT team. This is a Front Office facing team, focussed on delivering both strategic and tactical pricing and risk management solutions to the business.

The successful candidate will:

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining 'FO Risk' systems
  • Review and Analyse business requirements, proposing relevant solutions
  • Understand, in detail, business requirements for the Fixed Income Flow and Structured desks
  • Ensure successful system deliveries according to agreed timescales and budget
  • Work closely with local and global technology teams, and support functions, with regards to: strategy, operating model, implementation, production support transition and project lifecycle governance
  • Interact with local and global business analysts, project managers, technical architects and developers; detailing the design and driving quality end to end solutions

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of, and experience using: VBA, C#, SQL (Oracle), VB6 and OLAP (Active Pivot)
  • Proven ability to manage and implement technical solutions
  • Proven ability to communicate with Front Office users, IT colleagues, project managers, architects
  • Local market knowledge of financial service providers, technology service providers, and competitors
  • Experience of working with Summit, Reuters is a distinct advantage
  • Detailed knowledge of Fixed Income front to back and/or process mapping skills

Experience in financial products, particularly Interest Rate Derivatives
