Based in the centre of Salisbury, this SME practice is looking to grow their leadership team. You’ll be a Senior Accounts Manager or Accounts Manager ready for a step up and to grow your strategic experience. You’ll have people leadership experience and looking to develop this by developing junior team members.
This established practice has a strong presence in the regional market. You’ll use your knowledge to build and develop new and existing client relationships. You’re passionate about all things financial and enjoy the opportunity to share your commercial recommendations in an understandable manner with individuals and businesses. You’ll join a team of 10 and work closely with the business Partner, helping to move the company forward.
You'll need to have a desire to grow the client portfolio and progress towards partnership level.
As an SME practice the responsibilities will be broad and diverse, dealing with a mix of:
- Technical queries, accounts and account reviews
- Tax and VAT returns
- Meet with clients to understand and meet their individual and business needs
- Train and develop junior team members
To be a success and progress your career, you'll need the following skills:
Demonstrable experience of working with clients in the SME sector - varied sizes of turnover
Must be ACA/ACCA and have experience of working as an accounts manager in a practice
Good experience of controlling work flow and monitor quality control
**Will consider individuals on a part time basis. Salary will be pro rata appropriately.
