Expanding organisation are looking for a experienced Accounts Assistant to join them on a temp to perm basis

Your new role
Your new role is an initial temporary role but they will be looking to take the right candidate on permanently. You will report directly to the Finance Manager and work alongside a small, motivated finance team. You will be responsible for ensuring completion and accuracy of duties such as; Payroll for the business using Sage Payroll, using Sage Line 50 to manage sales and purchase ledger, managing petty cash transactions, credit control, daily reconciling and to post/record all direct debits, receipts from bank statements. You will also contribute to preparing the month end accounts.
What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience in a similar role, preforming all of the above duties including payroll. You will be required to have good working knowledge of Sage and Excel. You will also have excellent communication skills, be personable and be capable of working alongside the finance team, but also be capable of effectively managing your own time.
