Senior Accounting Technician - Part Time
£20-£25k per annum Pro Rata.
Negotiable dependent on experience
22 - 24 hours per week
A varied and responsible role, you will ensure the smooth running of all the day to day accounts functions reporting to the Managing Director.
This role would suit someone who is AAT level 4 qualified and is looking for responsibility in an independent commercial environment where they can see their impact on the end result. You will be assisted by a Finance administration Clerk.
This is a hands on role and requires someone who is proactive and can contribute to the culture of a fast growing company. You may be looking for a change, more responsibility, or may be looking to return to work on a part time basis.
The role will include data inputting, invoicing, payroll, sales/purchase ledger including chasing payments/debts from clients, producing management accounts and reconciling Sage accounts ready for the external accountant. Experience of budgeting and forecasting, Month end and P&L would be an advantage.
Experience of Sage is essential as is a good working knowledge of Excel. Payroll experience and experience producing Management Accounts is essential. Previous experience using Instant Accounts and collating commission data for payroll from a Salesforce CRM system would be a distinct advantage. The ability to prepare annual accounts to trial balance would be an advantage although not necessary.

The role would suit someone with experience in, or coming from a private sector, small to medium entrepreneurial/commercial enterprise.
