The Firm:

Established firm is being led by a bubbly, engaging new owner with a great accountancy pedigree, his enthusiastic expertise has in the past 12 months, added a new tranche of clients to an already successful, respected practice. A progressive Independent accountancy practice offering a great working environment & a culture encouraging staff autonomy. Owners & Managers have very respected broad-based backgrounds. Client work is often fixed-fee, encouraging an open relationship with clients. They are collaborative with clients, less transactional than many firms; offering advice / feedback / options in response to enquiries, rather than just yes/no answers.

The Role:

This is a new role created by the growth of the firm, thus there is flexibility in the content of the role & the profile of the successful candidate. Particularly welcome are candidates who enjoy 'owning a client portfolio’ (or aspire to this!). The successful applicant will enjoy doing the 'whole job' & getting plenty of client contact. The core of the role will be preparing year-end accounts for a wide variety of clients & the associated tax computations/returns. You will be the client’s primary point of contact & will deal with a wide variety of advisory issues that arise. There is scope for the successful applicant to shape the role to some extent, the firm encourage staff to develop, grow & progress with them.

Candidates:

Full or part-time candidates considered. Year-end accounts preparation experience & good client communication skills are most important. Training can be provided on the tax side, if needed. Qualified or 'qualified by experience’ candidates warmly welcomed.
