An award-winning independent healthcare advertising agency has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Account Manager to join its account handling department. The company is based in offices in Central London and handles campaigns for some of the biggest brands from some of the best-known pharmaceutical companies in the world.
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with solid healthcare experience, somebody with the ability to multi-task, handle status reporting, run project timeline planning in agreement with clients. This will be an account handler who has knowledge of client therapy areas/products//markets/competitors/product strategic direction/product positioning/messages/brand guidelines, and understanding of client approval processes and Zinc. You must be able to take client briefs and internally brief agency staff (copy, design and production) from initiation to completion of each job. You will be experienced enough to offer strategic advice, whilst identifying new brand and project opportunities, recommending strategic direction to clients. There will be participation in strategy review meetings, setting-up, running and presentation at client meetings including pre-meeting planning, presentation/agenda writing, and post-meeting follow-up and contact reporting. You should be experienced in estimating jobs in line with client budgets, and capable of budget tracking and reporting. You should be able to identify organic growth opportunities and follow-up on these, generating new business leads and follow-up of leads The ideal candidate will need to have good organisational and presentation skills.
There is a strong team work ethic at this agency so the Senior Account Manager should be good at multi-tasking and be prepared to deal with a number of jobs at once .. confident, friendly and affable are all qualities they are seeking for this role. You should also have working knowledge of the ABPI code of practice and other codes of practice relevant to the account type and creative medium.
