Our client is a market leader in the Freight forwarding sector and is looking to recruit a Senior Account Manager to cover the Midlands working out of their Minworth Hub, offering a generous package of £30,000 basic salary plus commission.
The role will initially involve being on the road 3 days a week and 2 days office based. As the role progresses the successful candidate will spend more time field based - visiting active clients.
The role will involve:
* You will be selling the company's road Freight Services on a business to business basis dealing with a range of decision makers.
* Initially a new business role and evolving to an account management role as your client base increases.
* You will be utilising current or previous contacts allied with market knowledge to self-generate leads.
* The role will be Field based and office based with a local Hub in the Minworth area.
The successful candidate:
* You will be experienced and proven in the Road freight sector ideally with precise market knowledge and able to deliver results.
* Living commutable to the Minworth HUB you will be able to self-generate leads, journey plan and work autonomously.
* Comfortable in new business and account management you will be tenacious yet highly professional.
* Circa £30,000 basic salary
* £37,000 OTE Uncapped
