A leading-edge healthcare communications group based in central London is looking for an experienced MedComms professional to head up the practice and continue the excellence that has become a critical element of their reputation, bringing sound scientific values to the team. The agency's communications focus is not just on specific drugs or devices, but specifically on their effect on consumer behaviour, and the consequences of the treatment.
They are seeking a hungry, experienced Senior Account Director to adopt full responsibility for their future strategy and thinking, as well as providing direct input on the strategic direction of programmes. This will require team leadership and management of company workload including direction of account handling staff. You should have the ability to lead the business during a restructure, and therefore will have had previous experience in this area. You should also be able to demonstrate knowledge of issues in medical communications, current issues and trends.
An advanced scientific degree would be very useful, along with experience working in a healthcare communications environment; experience in client management, and new business winning.
