SEND Teaching Assistant

Teaching Assistant Required.

£55 - £65 per day.


PK Education’s Sheffield branch are recruiting for a level two teaching assistant to work part-time at a “good” primary school in Sheffield on a 0.4 contract to start ASAP until Christmas 2018. For this role you will be required to work on a 1:1 basis with a student who has autism and so needs additional help integrating into the classroom, as well as additional help to access to the curriculum.

As well as this, you will be required to assist the teacher with day to day tasks including managing behavior, and administrative tasks.

To be considered for the role you must have:

CACHE level 2, or equivalent.

A fully comprehensive CV.

Ideally, experience working with SEND students.

Additional requirements:

Reference details will be requested prior to registration.

Current DBS registered with the DBS Update Service – full support will be provided if you do not yet have a DBS.
