SEND - Teaching Assistant Job - Weston Super Mare

I present to you an SEND teaching assistant job, located within a Weston Super Mare primary school. The School has stated that the most important thing to them is that the successful applicant has experience. As an SEND teaching assistant you will receive full support from the school SENCo.

Your new role
This SEND teaching assistant job will require you to have previous experience working as a teaching assistant within early years and KS1. Familiarity working with pupils with communication support needs is essential. Our client has asked that the successful applicant is comfortable providing daily 1-1 sessions with your allocated pupil. Whilst supporting this pupil you will be tracking and monitoring their progression.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Two long term references of employment
  • School based SEND teaching assistant experience
  • GCSE grade C or above in English and mathematics
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent qualification
