A SENCO is required to join our fantastic school and help provide the children with the help they need to successfully navigate their education. The School has a great track record with it's pupils and knows that acheivement can be found for all pupils with the right attitude.

Hope you are all keeping safe. Despite what Covid 19 has visited upon us we still have Schools that are in a position to hire for September and we are actively working on their behalf. Processes round registrations and interviews will be slightly different but we need to pull together to ensure we fill roles that will be vital to educating the children we serve.

You will need to be able to cope in working in a constantly shifting environment and work both as a leader and a team player in order to effectively support and assist the special needs at the school.

You will be:-

- Qualified SENCO


- Secondary experience

- Able to demonstrate a track record of dealing with third party agencies -Happy to work as part of the leadership team at school level

- Capable of creating Safeguarding strategies and processes that will be applied across whole of School Used to adopting a truly "Consultative" approach

- Instrumental in resolving issues for children and staff as an ongoing part of your remit

- Able to communicate with both the Children, staff and relevant external parties

- Used to handling some aspects of challenge

- Able to inspire confidence in the children you support

- Happy to get involved in whole of school life

This is a full time role which the School are happy to consider on an interim or permanent basis for the right person. They are looking for a highly committed professional with a real love for the role as a SENCO who will be able to easily earn the respect of colleague and trust of the children you will support.
