This fantastic Secondary school are looking for SEN Teaching Assistants who have a passion and drive to inspire pupils throughout their learning. You will be supporting children aged 11-16 who attend the provisional unit within the school. Many of these pupils have different needs such as, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Global Development Delay, SEMH and other difficulties that may impact their learning.
Pay ranges from £75-£85 a day, depending on previous experience.
Experience/knowledge of supporting children with ASD and SEMH is an advantage and a DBS check is essential; which can be run directly through Future Education.
SEN Teaching Assistant will be supporting and using different techniques to help pupils achieve their full potential. Within the classroom you will be working with the students on a range of different subjects, so knowledge of the national curriculum within Secondary schools is essential.
