Hays Education have SEBD Teaching Assistant vacancies for specialist teaching assistants to work with Primary school pupils with challenging behaviour.

The schools are looking for dynamic SEBD Teaching Assistants to work one to one with pupils who display excessive behaviour. The school are keen to meet experienced SEBD teaching assistants who are keen to commit and have had experience in working with young people with behaviour problems.

Initially on a temporary contract - the successful teaching assistants may have the potential to be offered a permanent contract.

The school are keen to meet individuals who can offer the 2 term commitment on a temporary basis.

To be considered for this teaching assistant job in Manchester you must:

- Have at least 2 years experience of working with challenging young people- this could be through a school/ volunteer work placement.
- Prefer TEAM TEACH TRAINED
- Have the ability to build rapport with young people
- An understanding and empathy to social and emotional needs

The teaching assistant role purpose is to break down barriers to learning, improve behaviour and academic progress of the group of pupils.

We are especially interested in candidates who can offer any extracurricular support such as sports coaching, language , advice and guidance.
