If so, I am keen to speak to you regarding work within the Nottingham area.
This job will be working with small groups of students and individuals helping them to manage their own behaviour, developing coping strategies and engaging students in learning.
It is not essential for this role to have previous school based experience but does require expertise in working with children whose behaviour can be challenging. A back ground in supporting children in care, children with social, emotional and behavioural needs or working in a school would be of an advantage. The children that attend the school are from a diverse and varied background and so experience of working with EAL students would also be a benefit.
We would ideally be looking for someone with the following;
- Experience working with children with Special Educational Needs or disabilities within either a school or alternative environment
- Experience working within a school environment
- Can provide 2 references to demonstrate this
