SEN Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join specialist SEN schools in Norwich. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday role starting ASAP, supporting pupils with a wide range of complex needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, MLD, PMLD and communication difficulties. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident practitioner with strong SEN experience who is passionate about helping children access learning, develop independence, and thrive in a specialist setting.

The schools are looking for patient, resilient and proactive TAs who can provide consistent, high-quality support and build positive, trusting relationships with pupils.

• Location - Norwich

• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant (SEN Schools)

• Type of work - SEN support (1:1 and/or small group)

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time, Monday-Friday

• Minimum rate of pay - £90-£110 per day

• Hours - School hours (approx. 8:30am - 3:30pm)

• Experience working with SEN (essential)

• Experience within SEN schools or specialist provisions (highly desirable)

• Understanding of behaviour strategies, sensory needs and differentiated support

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

• Relevant TA/SEN qualifications (desirable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
