SEN Teaching Assistant - Norwich - Start Date ASAP

Prospero Teaching are seeking a dedicated and empathetic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Norwich, starting ASAP. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, helping them engage, progress, and feel safe within a structured learning environment.

The school is looking for a calm, resilient practitioner with strong communication skills and a genuine desire to make a meaningful difference.

• Position - SEN Teaching Assistant

• Type of work - Supporting pupils within an SEN school

• Start date - ASAP

• Duration - Ongoing / Long-term

• Full time/part-time - Full time

• Minimum rate of pay - £100-£120 per day (depending on experience)

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEN (school-based or transferable)

• Understanding of safeguarding and child protection

• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK

• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one

• Provide two professional child-related references
