Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant

End date: July 2026
Daily rate: £82.14 - £100 per day
About the Role - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Provide 1:1 support as an SEN Teaching Assistant to a child in Year 1 with specific learning needs
- Help the pupil access the curriculum and maintain engagement in class activities
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCO to follow tailored education plans
- Monitor and record progress, behaviour, and development as part of the wider SEN provision
- Full-time, term-time position until the end of the academic year

Ideal Candidate - SEN Teaching Assistant
- Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Learning Support Assistant
- Confident supporting pupils with additional needs, including speech, language, or behavioural difficulties
- Passionate, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children's development
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
