SEN Teaching Assistant - Corby, Northamptonshire
Start Date: ASAP
Pay: £90-£100 per day (PAYE, depending on experience)

Tradewind Recruitment are working in partnership with a specialist SEN school in Corby to recruit a dedicated and resilient SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with a range of complex needs. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting young people with additional needs in a structured, supportive environment.

This well-established special school in Corby caters for children and young people aged 4 to 18 with a wide range of needs, including autism, speech and language difficulties, sensory processing challenges and moderate to severe learning difficulties. The school has a strong focus on personalised learning, emotional development, and life skills. With excellent staff training, resources, and a highly supportive leadership team, the school provides a positive and inclusive setting where all pupils can succeed.

• Supporting pupils with EHCPs on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Assisting with communication, emotional regulation and sensory needs

• Working closely with class teachers, therapists and support staff

• Adapting learning activities to suit individual needs

• Promoting independence, engagement and personal development

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in supporting children or young people with SEND

• Calm, patient and confident in managing behaviour

• Able to adapt quickly and work as part of a team

• Positive, proactive and committed to inclusive education

• Willing to support personal care where needed
