Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and other staff to support students with SEN, helping them to access the curriculum and develop essential skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to students with SEN.
  • Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
  • Support students in developing social, emotional, and academic skills.
  • Help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and external professionals to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Monitor and report on student progress.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with children with SEN is highly desirable.
  • A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support (preferred but not essential).
