Romano Education is looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Accrington. This role is perfect for a Teaching Assistant with experience supporting students with SEMH needs.
SEN Teaching Assistant Responsibilities:-
Provide tailored support for students with SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs

Assist the teacher in implementing behaviour management strategies

Support students in their learning and emotional well-being

Work closely with SENCOs, teachers, and parents to develop learning plans

Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment

Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in an SEN or SEMH setting

Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred)

Strong behaviour management skills and a calm approach

A passion for supporting students with additional needs
