SEN Teaching Assistant - Wokingham - ASAP start

A lovely school in Wokingham are looking for a SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team. They are looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant who has experience with SEN/ASD/ADHD. In the position of SEN Teaching Assistant, you will be valued as a vital team member and will be supported in your own individual success and well-being.

This SEN Teaching Assistant role in Wokingham will be working with a Year 6 pupil 1:1 who has ASD and ADHD. Your role as SEN Teaching Assistant may include, but not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's behaviour for learning in the classroom.
  • Helping children with their understanding of the teacher's instructions.
  • Working with individual learners in the classroom 1:1, or working with individuals or small groups in the Learning Support department.
  • Keeping track and recording pupil progress.
