The role – SEN Teaching assistant

  • The successful SEN Teaching assistant will be required to support students with ASD and other learning disabilities with their learning, providing learning materials to cater for specific abilities.
  • Providing one-to-one or small group support to students, assisting with learning tasks and promoting their inclusion in classroom activities.
  • Build a trusting and positive relationships with students and communicate according to their understanding
  • Under the guidance of teaching staff, provide feedback to students, parents and carers about their progress, achievements and any potential issues.
