A fantastic school has an opportunity for a recent graduate to join their team in an SEN Teaching Assistant role. The school cater to students with complex needs, learning disabilities as well as social, emotional and mental health needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, the candidate would be responsible for providing students with 1-1 support and attention throughout the school day. The candidate would be encouraging students to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills. The school are looking for a graduate to join their team and work alongside the support staff and on-site professionals. As an SEN Teaching Assistant you will develop an understanding regarding additional needs and how to support children facing challenges while in education.

The SEN Teaching Assistant role is a crucial position within the school, so they are looking for a candidate who can work under their own initiative, have emotional intelligence and a genuine interest in seeing the pupils succeed. The SEN Teaching Assistant will be working with a small group of students alongside a specialist SEN Teacher and a second SEN Teaching Assistant.
